Plate Heat Exchangers (PHE)
The widest range of plates available render PHE suitable for handling different viscosities, temperatures, liquid grades and pressures; SS 304, 316, 317, titanium, monel, nickel, 825 alloys are some of alternatives for materials of construction for the plates. Gaskets as well packings and fittings and their materials are selected to meet customer requirements.
USA manufactured PHE are ISO 9001 certified and may be ordered with ASME stamp. Argenfrio locally assembles and produces PHE headers strictly meeting the technical specifications stated in the licensed know how.
Standard plates are available in a wide range of surfaces from 0.34 sq. ft. up to 36 sq. ft per unit with a design allowing high efficiency grades translated in the "U" values of the different plates, fit to reach approaches of about 1°C.
For special applications, welded plate Maxchanger line is available. Maxchanger plates are designed applying cutting edge technology which renders highest strength and maximum contact surface and makes them specially fit for high temperatures and high pressures
